It’s been a pretty quiet week in Washington as Congress is on break, but Faith & Liberty was able to participate in a Good Friday service outside the Capitol building in remembrance of our Lord’s sacrificial death. We are also thankful that a good number of our government leaders honored the Lord privately and with public statements marking the resurrection of Christ.

Would you show your support for the many ways Faith & Liberty actively supports from Capitol Hill all that God is doing in our nation? We appreciate your faithful prayers and financial gifts that help Faith & Liberty thrive as we serve as your missionaries in our nation's capital.
It was also special that on Good Friday, we remembered and prayed for the Christians in China, Nigeria, and elsewhere who are being persecuted for their faith. Last October, Ezra Jin, founder and head pastor of Zion Church, and dozens of other Christian leaders were detained in China. Congressman John Moolenaar stood with the pastor’s daughter in seeking Pastor Ezra’s freedom from a Chinese prison. Faith & Liberty continues to stand strong for religious freedom in America and around the world.

Bible-believing Christians, including the persecuted who have been stripped of their freedom, are grateful that Christ is risen! Because of His empty tomb, the gospel is truly good news — for this life and the next!
