Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital

Covering the Capital: Good News for Us All!

Dec 2, 2025

This Giving Tuesday, we are reminded of how much we appreciate you for your faithful prayers and your financial support. If you read this email every Tuesday, you know how engaged we are with all of our ministry programs and outreaches in our nation’s capital (and beyond). We can only continue our vital and unique mission here because of you — and we value our partnership with you. Thank you!

We may not know precisely what time Jesus was born into this world, but this week, He — or rather a baby portraying Him — and the team accompanying this beautiful child will be arriving Thursday at 11 a.m. in front of the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, D.C.! The day and time of Jesus’ birth are likely different, and the place is vastly different than that of the small town of Bethlehem. On this Giving Tuesday, will you help us share this outreach again to those in our nation's capital?

Mary and Joseph and their entourage of elaborately costumed townspeople will walk down the streets of Capitol Hill. And like the setting where our Savior was born, there will be animals, a camel, sheep, a donkey, a cow, and any other of God’s creatures who may participate this year.

We hope that you will view our livestream presentation [Watch for our Live Nativity link on our Facebook page.] and pray with us that this unusual event — on Thursday, Dec. 4, at 11 a.m. — will be noticed on Capitol Hill and beyond. We look forward to walking with the live animals on Capitol Hill ending at the U.S. Supreme Court, where there will be a brief presentation of the good news that our Savior has come!

Today is Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving when hearts are turned to exercise generosity for the causes that reflect our values. What a great time to give following a week of reflecting on what we are thankful for! Would you show your support today for all that the ministry of Faith & Liberty has done and continues to do every day, week, month, and year to spread the love of Christ?

If you’re in Washington and wish to see the Live Nativity, Patty Bills will be happy to answer any questions you have. Call the Faith & Liberty office at 202-737-1776 or email Patty at [email protected]. Thank you for your prayers and for your generosity this Giving Tuesday in support of our Live Nativity 2025 gospel presentation!
