Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital
Apr 14, 2025
Like many holidays, Easter has become yet another reason for commercialism in America. Easter bunnies have hopped their way into one of the most meaningful days on the Christian calendar. Yes, most everyone likes a little chocolate — or a lot! — but let us be careful to remember and celebrate our Lord’s resurrection and what it means for us today!
We pray you have been enjoying the 12 days of Easter devotionals on our Faith & Liberty Facebook page and coming to your inbox every day through Easter Sunday. Our senior pastor, Rev. Greg Cox, was blessed to delve deep into the account of our Savior’s death and resurrection for this “Countdown to the Resurrection” series.
How will you remember and celebrate His resurrection in your life? Because He is risen, you can be forgiven! It’s the greatest news of all! Let’s ask the Lord to give each of us an opportunity to share it with someone this week. Pray for us here on Capitol Hill, that God would open up opportunities to do just that. We thank you and leave you with this powerful remembrance of our living hope!
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (I Peter 1:3).

We continue Lenten season daily walks with staffers on Capitol Hill, completing the 40 days of one mile a day matched with 40 days of a Scripture challenge.
