The District of Columbia is one of the most hardened locations in America advancing a culture of death. It allows abortions up to the moment of birth. And D.C. allowed an abortion clinic to be built between an elementary and a middle school. Now there are indications that our nation's capital is allowing (and even protecting) abortionists who are killing helpless newborn babies.

One D.C. sidewalk counselor recently saw two cartons of “medical waste” being taken out of an abortion clinic. She told the employee of the medical waste company that the cartons were filled with the bodies of babies and asked if she could give them a proper burial. She took possession of one of the two containers being picked up that day.

Inside the bin, she found the bodies of 115 children. Five of these children were wrapped separately, and all of the five appeared to be well past the point of viability. Evidence of the violence these children suffered indicated that they may have been born alive before they were killed. I’ve seen the pictures, and they are sickening.

At this point, the only people in this event who have been arrested are those who exposed the grotesque evil that is taking place in the shadow of Capitol Hill.

There are many jurisdictions in the U.S. in which it is legal for babies to be murdered even if they are born alive. This is why we need to pass the federal Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (HR 619 and S 123). Throughout our years of ministry in Washington, D.C., we have seen firsthand the intimidation and misrepresentation of the system in D.C. when it comes to abortion. But this time, it’s an entirely different level of offense.

“One of the babies, whom activists have since named ‘Harriet,’ had an incision on the back of her neck that could indicate the use of the federally banned D&X abortion procedure more commonly known as partial-birth abortion. Other intact babies found in the bag could have been killed by infanticide after surviving the abortion procedure,” Live Action reported.

One of these five children was estimated to be 32 weeks since conception, which is two and a half months past the point of viability. Experts believe all five of the more developed children could have survived outside the womb.

This is not the first time the abortionist at this D.C. location has been caught performing these gruesome procedures. Cesare Santangelo was shown on camera nine years ago describing his unique and brutal process. He does not inject feticide drugs to kill the child, but instead cuts their umbilical cord and waits for the child to die by cardiac arrest.

He admitted on camera that if a child survived one of his abortions, he and his staff “would not help it.”

This level of brutality is nauseating. The bodies of these five children are further evidence of his inhumane and illegal practices.

Further, this event illustrates just how bloodthirsty abortionists can be in radically pro-death jurisdictions like D.C., California, New York, Colorado and other locations. We must demand the passage of the Born Alive Act to establish protections for children that will otherwise be murdered and callously discarded.

Send urgent faxes to members of the House and Senate to pass the Born Alive Act and to let them know that America is watching their actions ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

In this recent event in the nation’s capital, an attorney wrote to the D.C. police informing them of the babies’ bodies and requesting an investigation. The police REFUSED to investigate the abortionist. Then the FBI got involved.

But the FBI did not arrest the abortionist. The FBI did not investigate the bodies of the five children at all. The day after the email was sent to the D.C. police, the FBI showed up and arrested nine pro-life advocates on alleged infractions from almost two years ago!

Then, “despite the fact that no investigation or autopsies had been performed,” Live Action reports that the “D.C. police held a press conference, dismissing the possibility that these viable babies were killed illegally.”

Rather than investigate the abortionist or his clinic, they showed up at the home of the person who brought it to their attention and arrested the courageous people who were seeking justice for the babies!

The Born Alive Act (HR 619 and S 123) will punish those who murder, neglect or dissect newborn babies while they are alive. We have 204 co-sponsors in the House and 46 co-sponsors in the Senate. We need more co-sponsors to pass this bill. We need your help to get it moving forward. Send urgent faxes to congressional members to demand justice, act now and pass the Born Alive Act.

We must end infanticide in America! We only need a few more House and Senate members to join us to pass the Born Alive Act. We cannot remain silent while precious children are being murdered!
